This is an important quote. If you see other people making money, and they’re idiots, you think, “I can jump in and do that” – hold on there… you just might be missing something.
It’s kind of like social media marketing. You see young people with their widgets and gadgets and think, that person knows how to use “the machines” so I’m sure they can do my social media marketing – after all, they use Instagram.
Stop right there.
There are no shortcuts, just like if you see someone making money, they may have a hidden knowledge or experience that makes them excel! If you give your social media marketing to someone that doesn’t know your business… you’ll regret it.
This includes hiring people to do your search engine optimization or other ad placements. You really do have to understand what is going on. Otherwise you’ll be throwing a bunch of money away. People that claim to be experts at social media marketing might have experience placing ads but do they actually understand your business. Nope. Do they understand what makes your customers tick… Not as good as you!
The best thing to do is create your own audience and market to them. That’s what the Infinity Marketing Machine is all about. Sure you’ll still do some social media marketing, but you’ll become focused on who you want to work with… and that makes for an awesome business.
