Wednesday: Midweek Motivation
Yesterday all I wanted to do was get an email off in the mail. The answer was simple, “just press send”. But you know what – the question to get me to this answer turned very complicated.
I was locked out of my account. Why? Because last week I needed to change my password and I truly hate passwords… don’t you??? So what I changed the password to is a BIG mystery! haha
Then I couldn’t reset the password because the original password I started the account with is no longer an active account… therefore to get the password I needed to get ahold of technical support via the online chat.
OMG – you know that was not easy, being the 17th person in waiting…
Then after about 15 minutes of help, which I was thankful for someone being able to help me… the “email” with the new link didn’t arrive…
My frustration was insanely high at this point so you know what I did… I became a “givver upper” – and I just stopped. It was no longer enjoyable. It wasn’t working. So I did something else.
Sometime when the question becomes so complicated that you just “can’t” it’s OK — just do somethign else.
Six hours later I went back to technical support and finally
got a hold of someone who actually sent the new link.
I changed my password.
Some days the simplest task, the “just press send” portion of your life, gets really bogged down… when this happens, do something else and come back to it.
Be a “givver upper”!
