Saturday: Try This
I was told an interesting story on Thursday. My husband said that he got a phone call and the local Domino’s wanted to send over pizza for his staff.
He is a manager at the local drug store and his crew has been working hard to service the customers in the area though the pandemic.
He was talking with the Domino’s manager and thought it was a nice gesture and said sure, that sounds great and he picked his toppings.
Then the Domino’s manager said, how many people are working? And said he would send over several pizzas… but he also wanted to do it a couple times next week and the following week.
What the heck?
He simply appreciated the people working at the store, going above and beyond, and it was the thing he could do to help ease their day.
Sometimes our “Try This” is a nice thought and increase your sales… but this “Try This” is about the what can you do to help… the people you’re seeing every day at the grocery store, the drug store, the places you simply frequent that are overwhelmed… from my husbands response, which was that of a proud parent when their child gets a gift, it makes a difference. Your kindness matters.
