When we accept that it is our job to have the customer remember us, what we’re really doing is taking responsibility that they won’t forget us!
If you’re like me a couple crazy ideas run though your head of how to make people not forget you… think any viral video. People simply remember you – but for the wrong reasons, like sliding down a slide but getting your swim suit stuck at the top — I saw that video yesterday… ouch.
So our job becomes how to make customers remember you for the right reasons…
This is where content and consistency show they are the important cornerstones to your marketing plan. If you build trust with the content you create, your tribe will remember you.
If you build offers for great value items and you send it to your customers via email you will be remembered.
When you take the time to share valuable information, omg… you will be remembered.
There are plenty of ways to be remembered for the right reasons and your reward is you gain a customer that you can market to over and over. But only if you recognize your job… and that job is to make yourself rememberable.
I love when I get to write a post with a word I made up.
